Korean doesn’t even sound like a foreign language to me anymore. Even though I can’t understand it, my brain just recognizes it.
Kpop to me isn’t just the amazing music and wonderful and talented groups, that’s just part of it. To me, kpop is like a remedy to my stresses, an escape to problems and worries. Being able to see the the face of my favorite group, bias, or otp, and instantly have a smile light up on my face and forgetting about the negative feeling, even if it’s just for a slight moment.
